The Triangle in the Delta logo represents the “D” of the Greek alphabet which is “delta”. From 1929 to 2022, the logo has gone through many evolutions. Their first passenger flight was in 1929 and the routes were from Dallas, TX to Jackson, MS, via Shreveport & Monroe, LA. I am a southern girl so this makes me proud. I figured that Southwest Airlines was the airline of the south, but Delta was here first! So cool!

What Is Your Favorite Delta Airlines Logo?
They have so many good ones! It’s hard to choose just one. My favorite is the 1987 – 1993 logo. I don’t know about you but when I think about Delta, this is the logo that is deep in my subconscious. I think because I am an 80’s baby and it was probably the first Delta logo I ever saw. I didn’t fly a lot as a kid, so I think I saw it in movies… hmm which movies feature this logo? That is for another post!
